A friend made me think about how time flies. And we realized how the clock strikes the hours and never stops ... And how many times we live in terms of what we want to be or have.
Last year, I attended a talk where he openly wondered: "What is most important in your life?". The majority answered that the family, children, couples, parents or friends. And then we asked: "How much time per week they devote to what is most important to you?" And many realized that it was too little time given to him. Several worked and studied for a better future, or arrived too late for the home because they had many things to do at work, or they realized when they came home, sat with his family to watch television: first the TV series, after the news and then some night program. Others said: "I more than quantity, I dedicate quality time."
is true that the future is important, but I wonder: what about this? What happens to your child when you expect to play ball, to show art work, or just to talk about what he did during the day and you're too late? What about your partner when you want to communicate you, share your experience or a moment of intimacy with you and you're too tired or worried? What about your friends when they call you by phone to hear from you or invite you over and over for a drink to talk and you can not? What about today?
We spend our lives looking for a good job and be a good professional. We then work to have a good economic situation, allowing us to have what we want, like a house or a car. And that work is orient the position we want to achieve in the not too distant future. And each time, spend more working hours and less to our family or friends.
And where was the Present?
